The Mirror

“Differentiates true friends from acquaintances by their honesty.”
(Maximizing Your Potential: Essential Growth Tools)

It’s been said that he who has a good friend needs no mirror. Why is that? Because a true friend will be honest and forthright with you. They will give you feedback whether you solicit it or not, even if it is unwelcome. They will tell you the truth even if it hurts because they care.

A true friend will tell you when you have egg on your face or when you have a blind spot, but a casual acquaintance won’t risk the offense and would rather let you go on and embarrass yourself. Knowing the difference between a true friend and a casual acquaintance is essential, so choose your friends wisely.
 Growing stronger, side by side!
